ABOUT ARROW THERAPEUTICS

Arrow Therapeutics is a fully integrated pharmaceutical company, focused exclusively on the discovery and development of novel antiviral therapeutics. Established in 1998 and acquired by AstraZeneca in February 2007, Arrow currently has around 50 employees working in state-of-the-art laboratory and office space in central London.

Within our focus on antiviral therapies, Arrow specialises in small molecule drugs with novel mechanisms of action. This focus has resulted in an exciting product pipeline - the lead compound RSV604 is a first-in-class small molecule antiviral against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) which was licensed to Novartis in June 2005 and is currently in Phase II trials. The first of our Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) compounds entered clinical trials during Q4 of 2006 with the second planned to enter clinical trials during 2007. Earlier stage projects on Herpes viruses are in lead optimisation.

Since its foundation, Arrow was well supported by a consortium of international investors who provided over £40 million in funding.
